Workshop #1: Milestones for Your Baby & You
A workshop on infant motor skills + postpartum healing
For pregnant moms, new moms, and caregivers with babies from birth through early walking.

This class helps parents understand:

• Key infant motor milestones and what’s truly “normal”
• Red flags worth knowing (without panic)
• Tummy time, rolling, sitting, crawling, and walking support
• The real postpartum healing timeline (beyond 6 weeks)
• Core and pelvic floor recovery and safe return to movement

Workshop #2: Move With Baby — Postpartum Strength & Baby Motor Skills
A hands-on movement workshop for moms with pre-crawling babies

This 90-minute morning workshop includes:
• Postpartum-friendly core and pelvic floor strengthening
• Baby positioning, tummy time techniques, and motor skill support
• Ways to move with baby while supporting development
• Time for connection, snacks, and community

Both workshops are designed to be warm, supportive, and low-pressure — not overwhelming — and are meant to help parents feel more confident in both their baby’s development and their own healing.

MN Christian Doulas Retreat. A few overnight spots are still available. And many day spots. Come away with us, meet local doulas and spend time with the Lord!

We'd love to have you there, whether you are a postpartum or birth doula, newly working in the field or a longtime birth worker, outgoing or reserved. All Christian doulas are welcome to retreat at a beautiful location, eat good food, fellowship, play, rest, and hear from the featured speaker Kara Jo Prestrud.
