Hope the Bear is back at it again, joining in on all the fun at Bell Trace! 🐻💜 As the Alzheimer's Association mascot, Hope continues to participate in our life enrichment activities — and today was all about Trivia Time!

She had a blast trying to stump our residents during our regular trivia game… but let’s just say, our residents gave her a run for her honey! 🍯🧠😉

We love having Hope around as we raise awareness and support for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Stay tuned for more adventures!

As the school year kicks off for many students in our community today, it feels like the perfect time to look back and celebrate the wonderful summer we spent with our Reading Buddies!

In partnership with Girls Inc. of Monroe County, our residents at Bell Trace and the girls from Girls, Inc. gathered each week at the Monroe County Public Library. Over the weeks, pages turned into friendships, and books sparked conversations that will be remembered far beyond summer.

A few weeks ago, we wrapped up the program with a special celebration. These intergenerational connections are truly rewarding for everyone involved, and we can’t wait to partner again next summer.

🐻💜 Hope the Bear is at it again! Our beloved Walk to End Alzheimer’s mascot is making the most of every moment here at Bell Trace. Today, she tagged along with our residents on their weekly lunch outing — this time to The Tap in Bloomington! 🍔🥗

Hope enjoyed the delicious food, lively atmosphere, and even took in the sights and scenes of beautiful downtown Bloomington. It’s all part of the fun as we continue to include her in our activities and adventures.

Yesterday, Hope had the joy of visiting our residents at Bell Trace Health and Living. Together, we soaked up the sunshine and enjoyed a lively game of checkers. 🌞🎯

Everywhere Hope goes, she’s sharing the message that together, we can make a difference in the fight against Alzheimer’s. Keep an eye out—you never know where Hope will pop up next!

Earlier that week, our residents and team members came together to make festive tie-dye shirts—just in time to wear them proudly at our 4th of July picnic.

These shirts weren’t just fun to make—they were a bright expression of our community spirit!

Our local seniors need us now more than ever.

Area 10 Agency on Aging is facing a critical shortage of non-perishable food—and their pantry shelves are nearly bare.

To help jumpstart support, Bell Trace has donated several items. But the demand is urgent, and much more is needed.

We’re calling on our compassionate community to take action:

It's Testimonal Tuesday and today we want to share how Bell Trace became a New Chapter of Joy for Resident, Rhoda Birdlow.

For Rhoda, the decision to move was an easy one. “It is clean, friendly, and in a good location!” she shared — three things that immediately made Bell Trace feel like home.

One of the highlights? The family events. “I enjoy the family events here,” she said, noting how these gatherings create a strong sense of community.

Mealtimes are another favorite part of the day. With meals served on time and a special shoutout to the “great meatloaf,” it’s clear our dining team hits the mark with both flavor and reliability.

But when asked what she loves most, the answer was simple: “The people!” From neighbors to staff, it’s the relationships that make life at Bell Trace truly special.

While it’s hard to name just one standout team member, Rhoda made it clear: “Yes, too many to name!” — a testament to the consistent, compassionate care provided by our entire team.

And for anyone thinking about Bell Trace? Her advice is wise: “Check it out first and see if it fits your needs! It is a great place and has wonderful staff!”
