“Why can’t you open my incisions and drain me like that, they did it to me in Miami”

“My surgeon said I need to wait 6 week before my first massage”

“My surgeon said I can take my wrap off after 3 weeks”

“I don’t like drinking water”

Listeeeeeeen…… respectfully, NO.

No massage therapist needs to open anything up, water should be your best friend, massages start after 2 days of surgery and your garment will be your second skin for 3 months 😘

Summer is around to corner don’t go outside disappointed, go outside SNATCHED 👏🏼👏🏼

Let’s talk about the bad word on post op healing “fibrosis” 😱😮‍💨

Although this can happen to anyone; lumps, bumps, skin folds, skin unevenness, and skin discoloration IS all part of the healing process and all part of the scary part of the post op healing process ❤️‍🩹

It is totally NORMAL 🤭

Think of yourself as a caterpillar waiting to turn into a butterfly, because once you get passed the ugly stage that is when the beauty starts to show 🤩🥳

My advice as a post op massage therapist: don’t look at yourself until 2 months (unless you have to), stop over analyzing everything, trust your therapist and most importantly FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS so it can heal properly 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
