Here is another shared story of a beloved resident with a long history in Bloomington. Pictured here is Chuck and Pam Flowers when they had been married a couple decades. They met while attending IU. Their love story began right here in town, it was during those formative college years that their paths crossed — and it didn’t take long for sparks to fly.
Their first date was a classic: a movie night to see Spartacus. Something about that evening sealed their fate. As Chuck would say with a smile, “When you know… you know!” Just three months later, they were engaged, already dreaming about the life they’d build together.
