❄️💙 Pictures with Elsa was pure magic! 💙❄️

We had so much fun hosting Pictures with Elsa at our Champaign office! From big smiles and warm hugs to glitter tattoos, hot chocolate, and coloring fun — the afternoon was filled with laughter, joy, and winter magic. ✨

We loved welcoming families and kiddos of all ages and creating a space where everyone could slow down, connect, and simply enjoy the moment.

At Synergy HomeCare, events like this are close to our hearts. Creating joyful experiences and strong community connections is just as important as the everyday support we provide — whether that’s companionship, transportation, activity engagement, or helping families navigate care needs at home.

We had the sweetest time celebrating Liz’s baby shower, graciously hosted by Sugar Creek Alzheimer's Special Care Center! We’re so grateful for the love, generosity, and warmth they shared as we celebrated our newest Synergy baby.

❤️🥗 Heart, Health & the Holidays at Urbana Park District 🎄

We had such a fun and meaningful time at the Heart, Healthy, Cooking Class with the Urbana Park District! Together, we created a festive Christmas charcuterie wreath while talking through simple holiday safety tips for seniors.

The holidays often mean more time in the kitchen, extra decorations, and busy schedules — which can increase fall risks, forgotten medications, or fatigue. Small steps like keeping walkways clear, practicing food safety, pacing activities, and staying mindful of heart health can make a big difference during the season.

At Synergy HomeCare, we love combining education with hands-on experiences that help seniors enjoy the holidays safely and confidently. Thank you to Urbana Park District for hosting such a wonderful event! 💜

Liz recently led two dementia training seminars with the incredible team at Bridle Brook Assisted Living & Memory Care Community, sharing practical tools and insights to better support individuals living with dementia.

At Synergy HomeCare, we’re proud to have Certified Dementia Practitioners at every location. This means our teams are specially trained to understand behaviors, communicate effectively, reduce stress, and create safer, more supportive environments for those living with cognitive change.

Education matters. When caregivers and care teams understand dementia, it leads to more compassionate interactions, improved quality of life, and stronger support for families navigating this diagnosis.
