"The Goat Conspiracy, a 46-acre sanctuary and retirement home for goats and formerly farmed animals located at 6030 E. Kent Road, originally operated as a small local sustainably oriented farm and creamery until the winter of 2024, when they began what they call the 'transfarmation'. Realizing the impact of dairy and animal agriculture, they slowly transitioned out of the farming industry, putting all emphasis on animal welfare.
Now they focus on providing a safe and sustainable place for the retired animals to live, 'where their only job in life is to be a goat.'"

✨Meet the Team!✨
We are excited to welcome our newest employee here at TGCS, Abbey!

Animal lover Abbey moved to Bloomington from San Francisco in 2024. During one of her first weekends in town, she visited the sanctuary for the annual sunset piano recital. It was then that she fell in love and had to find a way to keep coming back. Abbey started by volunteering weekly and now works here at the Sanctuary, fulfilling her childhood dreams and lifelong passion to work with animals. Caregiver through and through, Abbey is also a NICU nurse and cares for the tiniest humans around. In her spare time she can be found playing outside with her 2 year old, thrifting, and crafting.
