Addiction is a struggle that touches so many lives in our community. At Amethyst House, we provide safe housing, treatment, and support for individuals in early recovery because no one should have to face substance abuse alone.

This year, we are honored to be on the ballot for Bloomingfoods Co-op Market’s Positive Change campaign. With your vote, funds will go directly toward nourishing meals for our residents to strengthen the mind and body on their road to recovery.

If you are a Bloomingfoods owner-member, please vote between tomorrow, September 24th to October 24th!

Remember our 2010 Contra Dance fundraiser at Harmony School? Well, we are bringing it back!!!! On Saturday September 20th, we will be hosting our Community Dance! Come as you are, no ticket needed, but there is a $10 suggested donation. There will be a cookout followed by a dance. We will provide the main dish but please bring a dessert or side dish to share. Hope to see you there!

Amethyst House had a very special 2024. We have tabled alongside numerous events, like Paint the Town Purple, Summer of Recovery, and others. During the summer, we had our annual Celebration of Recovery where we commended the dedicated service of members in our community. In October, we hosted our 11th Annual Benefit Concert at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater. Endless thanks to and for coming to Bloomington for our cherished event. Also, we want to thank , Red Robin, Chipotle, , and Culver’s for hosting fundraisers to foster our mission! We would not be where we are without a strong community base so we thank you for your support every step of the way.

If you have any extra twin size bedding, towels, plastic hangers, and unused toiletries, please consider donating the items to the men's house. Items can be dropped off at the men's house or at the outpatient office.
