Join Us for Parkinson’s Community Day: Walk, Wellness & Support 💙

We are grateful to be part of this meaningful annual event supporting the Parkinson’s Foundation. This special day brings together families, caregivers, healthcare providers, and local businesses for connection, education, movement, and community support.

Hosted by Bloomington Regional Rehabilitation Hospital, this free community event will feature lunch, games, healthcare vendors, and a walk in support of the Parkinson’s Foundation.

Elders Journey Home Care will be there to support this event and connect with members of our community. We are honored to stand alongside those impacted by Parkinson’s and to help raise awareness and support for such an important cause.

We need your help — your voice matters!

SB 275 will be heard next Wednesday in the House Ways and Means Committee, which contains language that would remove protections against rate cuts to home health agencies. This clearly indicates that FSSA intends to reduce Home Health rates very soon after the bill's passage. FSSA has already expressed frustration with the overhead component of the Home Health fee schedule, which will likely be the first target.

With ongoing Pathways issues and MCE challenges, now is the time to act. Please take a moment to contact your elected officials and urge them to oppose this language.
