I'm hosting a grief gathering called The Mourning Den on the third Tuesday of every month from 6-7pm. It's free, online, and includes somatic practices, prompts for sharing, and breathwork. Flyers are attached below.

You do not have to share in session.
You do not have to have your camera on.

This is a space for all forms of loss or transition, past, present, or anticipated. Whether you are grieving a person, a breakup, an identity shift, a job, a pet, a physical change, or societal issues like climate change or oppression, you're welcome here to be held in community.

"Sensual Flow" is a beginner-friendly, gentle yoga class designed to awaken the sacral chakra through fluid, embodied movement and breath.

Set to a slow-burning playlist featuring the soulful sounds of Tems, Robert Glasper, Cleo Sol, Yebba, and Coco Jones, this 75-minute practice invites you to move like water, tapping into pleasure, creativity, and emotional connection with every beat.

A free gathering for those grieving using breathwork, sharing, and somatic practices. Join us to find comfort, healing, and community.

Prompts are provided for shared or personal reflection to help you explore how you are experiencing your grief, what is helpful, and what is challenging, as well as share resources to help us navigate grief as a whole.

We've talked about losing people, freedoms, identities, jobs, homes, ideas, communities, etc. Anything is welcome. And for the introverts, cameras are optional.

* CALLING ALL BIG-HEARTED FRIENDS *

Update: We reached our goal!

I’m teaming up with the amazing Amber Collins from ReCreate to bring a super special event to local middle school kids, a yoga + creative expression workshop! 🧘🏾‍♀️🎨

For many of these kiddos, this will be their first time trying yoga and seeing someone who looks like them leading it. That matters. A lot.

After we move our bodies, we’ll dive into a creative art project to help them reflect and express. To make it happen, we need a few supplies:

10 boxes of 24-pack crayons – $1.50 each
10 perforated coloring books for middle schoolers – $5.99–$8.99 each
10 packs of 12 colored pencils – $1.75 each

Total: $122.40
(Supporting local shops + any extra funds go toward snacks & future kid-centered magic!)

We’d love to have all donations in by this Thursday — class is happening Friday, and we want the kids to have everything they need!

Rooted & Rising is a beginner-friendly, gentle flow yoga class that helps you slow down, feel grounded, and reconnect. All props are provided, just bring yourself.

With simple poses and smooth tracks from Chaka Khan, Stevie Wonder, and Luther Vandross, we’ll tap into the root chakra and let the bass lines and breathwork do the grounding.

Somatic bodyworker Cortenay Crosson will lead a guided meditation in Rafael Soldi’s exhibition A moon, a peephole, an explosion, or a flashing memory. The meditation will be followed by a discussion of Rafael Soldi’s artworks. Registration is required (link on website below).

A moon, a peephole, an explosion, or a flashing memory features photographs, a handwritten text installation, and an EKG made from 2009 through 2023. Informed by the artist’s q***r, Peruvian identity, the selected works reflect on the possibilities of language, memory, and imagining. In Soldi’s words, he “probes states of in-betweenness—especially as it occurs across tongues—providing nuanced insight into immigrant identity while also offering a rich metaphor for q***r experience.”
