Dementia Friendly Susquehanna Valley DFSV's vision is to provide education & support to those in our area caring for those with dementia.

The mission of DFSV is to bring dementia awareness to our region through education, advocacy and volunteer engagement in order to better support those living with dementia and their caregivers. Specifically, DFSV provides education opportunities about dementia in an effort to inform the community at large, reduce the stigma associated with dementia, bring awareness to existing community resources and create new resources to better serve those living with dementia and their caregivers.

Today, some truly inspiring individuals had the privilege to be interviewed by Colby Hughes at 28/22 News (WBRE/WYOU).

Elaine Spicher, Maria Fazio, and Stephanie Brown came together to announce the launch of the NEW DFSV Caregiver Support Group - GlenBrook

During the interview, they shared powerful insights about the impact dementia has on individuals and their loved ones, highlighting just how important understanding, compassion and community support truly are.

They also emphasized the value of coming together through support groups - creating a safe space where people can connect, share experiences, and uplift one another during challenging times.
