May is National Stroke Awareness Month, and we're closing it out by celebrating two of our own. 🎉

Calhoun Liberty Hospital EMS Paramedic Shelby Hill and EMT James Thompson each received Stroke Superhero Awards at Ascension Sacred Heart Bay Medical Center in Panama City, recognized recently for their rapid stroke recognition and life-saving response in the field. 🦸‍♂️🦸‍♀️

Shelby and James represent the standard of care our EMS team brings to Calhoun County every day. We appreciate all you do. 💙

This National EMS Week 🚑🚨, we’re proud to recognize the dedicated team members of EMS who serve our communities with skill, compassion, and commitment every day.

This week has included hands-on cardiac monitor training to continue strengthening patient care, and we’re grateful for the support shown to our crews throughout the week - including lunch today provided by Survival Flight 🚁 at the Calhoun County Airport.

Yesterday was a wet one, but the weather didn't stop us! 🌧️ Tuesday's Hometown Heroes Cookout moved inside to our beautiful lobby and turned out to be a great event.🍔 Thank you to the CLH Board of Directors and Calhoun Liberty Hospital Foundation for treating our team to burgers, all the fixings, and a whole lot of appreciation.
