If you’re all about skiing, snowboarding, biking, and keeping people safe on the mountain, joining NSP is one of the best ways to express those passions!

We are always looking for volunteers, professional patrollers, and hosts ready to combine adventure with service.

The process is to connect with a local patrol, create your NSP account, complete required education courses, and start making a difference. As a candidate, you’ll train for first aid in outdoor environments—preparing you to respond when it matters most.

With more than 31,000 members serving in 38 states and five other countries, National Ski Patrol is the largest outdoor safety and rescue organization of its kind.
 
Our patrollers work at nearly 500 ski and recreation areas nationwide—keeping guests safe, responding to emergencies, and supporting mountain operations year-round. Wherever you ski, ride, or bike, there’s a good chance an NSP patroller is there to help.

This year we have so many OEC candidates we split our class into a Wednesday class and a Saturday class. Today is our first Saturday class.
