Yesterday, during Nurses Week, we thought it was only fitting to celebrate our very own Roxanne for being awarded Watermark’s Resident Care Director of the Year! 🎉💗

Our community came together to recognize this well-deserved honor and show Roxanne just how much she means to all of us. From the beautiful decorations and sweet treats to the smiles and heartfelt congratulations, the room was filled with love and appreciation. Our Blue Bell Place residents celebrated the eve of Cinco de Mayo in the best way—out to lunch at Margaritas! 🌮🍹 The food was absolutely delicious, the margaritas were flowing, and the laughter around the table made it even sweeter. A special shoutout to our wonderful waitress Cat for taking such great care of us and making the experience even more enjoyable.

We had a beautiful Mother’s Day brunch here at Blue Bell Place! 💐

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing Executive Director, Kim, and our fabulous Sales Director, Desiree, who—along with our dining team—whipped up a delicious brunch for our residents and their families. From the lovely setup to the tasty food, it was a morning filled with smiles, laughter, and special moments shared together.

We kicked off the month of May in the best way—relaxing and recharging! 🌸 Our residents enjoyed a wonderful Happy Hour filled with soothing massages, thanks to our favorite massage therapist, Tiffany, FullCircle Aesthetics LLC., who generously volunteers her time and talents with us.

Despite the rainy weather, 12 members of our Blue Bell Place community ventured out last night for a beautiful evening performance at Gwynedd Mercy University—and it was well worth it!

Our Dining Director Lonny led a great Wellness Wednesday discussion on how food impacts brain health—reminding us that everything in moderation! We talked about the benefits of caffeine in coffee and tea, leafy greens, and probiotic-rich foods like sauerkraut and yogurt, along with antioxidant-packed favorites like strawberries and blueberries. Residents asked thoughtful questions and wrapped up the session by enjoying a fresh strawberry and blueberry salad together!

Today we shared a truly meaningful and heartfelt experience together. 💙

Pat, the daughter of one of our beloved residents, Vern, who recently passed away came in as planned to read poetry from her published book. What unfolded was something incredibly special. After her reading, we came together as a group to create a poem of our own. Each resident contributed thoughts, memories, and ideas—one touching moment included someone sharing a story about her father, which she beautifully wove into the poem.

There were tears, smiles, and so much love in the room as we honored Vern's memory through words and connection. It was a powerful reminder of how storytelling and creativity can bring comfort and keep cherished memories alive.

Afterward, we continued our time together by discussing the health benefits of poetry—how it can help with emotional expression, reduce stress, spark memory, and bring a sense of peace.
