Through simple conversation, our amazing housekeeper Ben discovered that he and Fred share a special connection — they’ve lived in the same neighborhood! Since then, they’ve been reminiscing about familiar streets, local shops, and landmarks, sparking memories and creating a meaningful bond.

We had such a special treat today at Blue Bell Place! A group of talented young Irish dancers from Dancing on Eire School of Irish Dance, came to perform for our residents and they were absolutely amazing. The youngest dancer was just 6 1/2 years old--so impressive to see such skill and confidence at such a young age!
Our residents truly loved every minute. There were smiles, clapping, and so much joy throughout the room.
Thank you to these wonderful dancers for bringing such energy and happiness to our day! 💚

We were delighted to welcome the Norristown Garden Club to Blue Bell Place for a fun and creative flower potting activity! 🌸🌼

Residents enjoyed designing their own unique arrangements using beautiful cut flowers and a charming variety of mugs. Each creation was as special as the person who made it, and the room was filled with smiles, laughter, and creativity.

We’re feeling extra lucky at Blue Bell Place! ☘️💚

Our St. Patrick’s Day celebration was full of festive fun, from silly props and bright smiles to delicious treats and cheerful toasts. Residents enjoyed green beer, Irish whiskey, classic Irish soda bread, and sweet Irish potatoes—bringing a true taste of Ireland right to our community!

It was a very sweet surprise at happy hour this week. The family of our beloved former residents, who once called our community home, generously donated boxes of Girl Scout Cookies for everyone to enjoy.

While we miss them dearly, it means so much to know their family continues to think of our residents and bring a little extra joy to the day. The cookies were shared, smiles were plentiful, and their kindness will certainly be remembered. 🍪💛

We had a wonderful last Sunday afternoon at Blue Bell Place when 27 members of the St. Helena’s Swim Team came to spend time with our residents!

The group jumped right in playing games together — co****le, Uno, checkers, bowling, card games, jigsaw puzzles, and more. Laughter and friendly competition filled the rooms as everyone enjoyed getting to know one another.

To top off the visit, the swimmers treated our residents to classic root beer and Coke floats, which were a big hit! Thank you to these thoughtful young visitors for bringing such great energy, kindness, and smiles to our community. 💙
