Our Georgia team was proud to attend the 2026 Statewide Provider Association for Developmental Disabilities (SPADD) Conference! 🌟 The conference brought together providers, stakeholders, and leadership from across the state for thoughtful discussions centered on policy, service delivery, and collaboration.

We were well represented by Columbus Team Leaders Kaneshia Lovick and Chantel Brown, along with Columbus Executive Director Allist Jones, whose engagement across sessions helped strengthen connections and contribute to meaningful conversations throughout the conference. Breakout discussions focused on compliance, workforce development, and best practices offered valuable insights that support high-quality services and outcomes. The conference also provided helpful perspectives from state leadership that informed the work ahead. 🤝

We look forward to continuing these conversations and engaging in future SPADD conferences as we collaborate to support services across Georgia! 🍑

🧠 We are proud to share the voices of the clinicians who shape our work every day. “You’re not just supporting an individual—you’re supporting an entire family system.” - A powerful reflection from Dr. Juan Carlos A., one of our psychologists, sharing his experience at Columbus. Here are a few more highlights from his story:

💬 “Working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is a unique experience—one that I’ve grown to love because of the impact we can have on others.”

💬 “The respect for employees stands out immediately. Even working from afar, you’re treated as an integral part of the team.”

💬 “It is important that you find work within a job that has personal meaning to you… I’ve discovered service to others is what resonates with me.”
