AstroRain Report October 1-7
From earthly rumblings, biospheric and human generated, to Deep Space visitors wandering into our Solar System’s local hood, the week is out of bounds in enough ways it may be a challenge to maintain equilibrium. But that’s our job for the remainder of this year, while opening up to extraordinary changes in reality, harbingers of a new world awakening. The mayhem ensuing from old structures and belief systems disintegrating is simply what must be navigated, at the same time with all support for doing that with relative ease and grace offered by the earthly/cosmic ever shifting energy patterns. Patterns calibrated to provide exactly what’s needed for optimal progress along the way.
Wed 1 Morning may feel slowed down, even plodding as void of course Capricorn Moon’s last aspect is with Saturn before its fairly aimless path. By 12:52 pm Luna enters Aquarius spending the afternoon making those important outer planet aspects, Neptune, Uranus, Pluto bringing greater clarity and sense of purpose. That influence is multiplied many times over by Mercury’s square to benefic, generous Jupiter as long as we’re mindful of averting pessimism or feelings of not enough that are circulating, raising consciousness to meet the offering.
Thur 2 Aquarius Moon trine Libra Sun to begin the day can extend good feelings, open minded inquiries, more acceptance of differences among us and willingness to work with each other, from the personal to group situations. This mood may carry the day, especially to the extent that we tend to our own state of consciousness, so easliy set off balance with the kind of non stop bombshells the dying power structure throws our way. Working up to Full Moon in directed, motivated and often contentious Aries Monday we need these opportunities to breathe deeply, make connections based on mutual appreciation and support and express gratitude for all that nurtures us. Evening lunar quincunx to Venus favors that kind of shift in attitude where needed.
Fri 3 Moon-Jupiter contact early suggests an adjustment between head and heart, how we might make improvements in self care and/or in close connections by practicing a blend of those perspectives. Mercury opposite Chiron advises caution in how and what we communicate by words, gestures, unconscious expressions even. In depth conversations or thinking through difficult problems are benefited by this combination. Good possibilities for articulating source of a conflict or wound whose origins may go way back. That’s enabled by lunar aspects to both planets late morning, then Moon drifts void of course til 7:07 pm when it enters Pisces, giving us that period to consider how our perceptions have evolved. Pisces Moon next 2 days encourages all such contemplation, meditation, journeys into imagination and inner vision.
Sat 4 Moon-Mars trine begins with deeply felt emotions and/or wild imaginings. Care needed not to descend into dark suspicions or predictions in this particularly vulnerable energy field. Meanwhile Mercury-Saturn warning is to honor intuition while reaching for the most positive messages we can share, both outwardly and within.
Sun 5 Jupiter’s input with Moon mid morning spreads magnanimous feelings but can also amplify cravings not necessarily good for us. Psychic energy is high all day, emphasized again 5:30 pm when Moon-Saturn join in aspect that can help bring a vision into manifestation, a beneficial evening for doing dream work. One helpful technique for shifting a disturbing mood we’ve been left with is to go back into the dream consciously and create a better outcome.
Mon 6 Chiron-Eris conjunction has arrived at the even more volatile phase of their ongoing conjunction with an arc of only 5 minutes for this Aries Full Moon. With those 2 street fighters in the same sacred warrior sign, willing to do whatever it takes to bring about justice, equity and healing, dramatic events aimed in those directions are assured. Certainly violence is part of all the rebellious assertions, all the actions taken globally in resistance to unjust wars, multiple genocides and continual environmental degradation created by militarism and unchecked industry. Many moments of truth this year, with this lunation yet another.
In the individual realm, with cardinal fire sign so powerfully represented, we’re compelled to take action on behalf of our most significant purposes or in response to personal crises reaching a high point. Must be caution and care in how we go about such moves as the tendencies exist for out of control anger, loudness or overriding others’ needs. Or in being overtaken ourselves by agendas of those who talk the loudest and longest. Personal sovereignty has been and continues to be one of the crucial matters to be fully addressed in this year of transition when the old and dying power structure enacts increasing measures to keep us under control. Of course life and the universe have other things entirely in mind and the wheels of evolution turn incessantly toward liberation. Liberation from the centuries long dysfunctional, dominance/submission, master/slave, either/or, patriarchal system we’ve been indoctrinated in and captured by.
Moon at 14 degrees Aries opposing Sun in Libra extend the most critical mission of claiming/re-claiming sovereignty, from personally to groups, communities, nations, wherever the push for more and more control has been activated to the next level. It’s clearly a battle that we engage ourselves in with whatever means of self assertion is right for us. In communities and beyond the personal is most certainly political with the necessity for more participation in the collective process. The planetary patterns activate our passion for improving what is, saying no to what excludes or victimizes any group and most importantly for stopping the endless march to war that has become our reality. As well the two(!) comets, or perhaps more accurately interstellar visitors to our galactic neighborhood, open us to the vastness of our universe and the very real and immediate probabilities for interactions with travelers from Deep Space. For those ready to receive the messages and energies being emitted this is an exciting, mind and energy body expanding phase. It should be no surprise that part of that refers to far distant past of Earth, our species’ hidden true history over millions of years, along with the unknowable, evolutionary thrust of the future and where we are in all that now.
Looking up 14 degrees Aries and Libra in natal charts can bring greater insight into most effective actions for now, validating our experience of the areas we can most productively work on balance, cooling raw emotions in order to get to it. Outer planets’ (Pluto, Neptune, Saturn, Uranus) relationships, in present time and for many months to come, help to pry open new spaces within us as individuals on our unique journey within the kaleidoscopic cinema of the world stage. Mercury shifting into Scorpio at the lunation with an attitude, perspective adjusting quincunx to Neptune serves as a failsafe truth meter if we listen at the deepest levels of being, an important way to approach this moment of yet another completion. Whatever is illuminated for each of us has undeniable significance.
Tues 7 Dark musings may arise in first part of the day with Mercury in Pluto’s sign square Pluto, but best use of this combination is to dive in and confront the scary, ugly, or unsavory with eyes wide open. Also may reveal some buried treasures in disguise. Avoiding outer confrontations strongly advised as power dynamics are in full play. Crucial not to use or fall for verbal manipulating, intentional deceptions, but realize the power in all messages we’re sending and receiving. News is bound to be especially disturbing within the reality of disturbing news every day. Paradigm shift in full force, not a pretty picture but necessary, as the old death and destruction world view is in the midst of last gasps over next few years. Cultivating peace within our own hearts can be our gift to an ailing world. Compassion and kindness are key, but unless paired with wisdom mostly empty and unhelpful as Saturn in Pisces is teaching us over and over.
