Energy Boosts, Tips and Tricks:
*Root Chakra Siphon- The Root Chakra is responsible for making you feel safe and secure. This exercise will help break up stuck patterns of overwhelmness, loneliness, chronic sadness and grief, despair, chronic pain, addiction, self-destruction and lack of connection to self and others:
Hold one hand below the Root Chakra. Hold your other hand down and away from your body directed at a golden bowl waiting to receive and transmute negative energy. Intend that all negativity, toxicity, emotional and/or physical pain, darkness and blocks of all kinds begin to flow from the hand below your Root Chakra, through you and out your other hand directed at and into the golden bowl to receive and transmute. Breathe slowly and easily and allow everything that is blocking the energy flow in the Root Chakra to break up, loosen, melt and dissolve and notice th energy fom the Root Chakra begin to flow up and through you and into the golden bowl. Do this until you get a sense that the flow has stopped and the emptying is complete. Maybe you will feel warmth or tingling elsewhere in your body. You may breathe a deep sigh, feel a shiver, note a growl in your belly or have a simple deep sense of relaxation. Opening the Root Chakra allows you to feel the energy of being grounded, strengthened and connected within your own being and to all others. You will have an increased sense of belonging. From here one may go on to do a Self-Chakra Connection. Do a Root Siphon before and after any energy work that you may do or have done, including Healing Touch, Reiki, Yoga or Acupunture, for example.
Chakra-joint connections- The palms of the hands and feet are r/t the Root Chakra, the wrists and ankles are r/t the Sacral Chakra, the elbows and knees are r/t the Solar Plexus Chakra and the shoulders and hips are r/t the Heart Chakra. If you have a joint issue, send energy into the Chakra associated with that joint. Hold your hands on or near the Chakra and breathe energy into that Chakra.
Bija Mantras (may be sounded aloud or to yourself):
Tones associated with each Chakra-
Lam, Lang is associated with the Root Chakra.
Vam, Vang is associated with the Sacral Chakra.
Ram, Rang is associated with the Solar Plexus Chakra.
Yam, Yang is assoicated with the Heart Chakra.
Ham, Hang is associated with the Throat Chakra.
Om, Ong is associated with the Third Eye or Brow Chakra.
Om, Ong is also associated with the Crow Chakra, as is silence.
The sounds/tones ending in the m sound moves energy downward. The tones ending in the ng sound moves energy upward. If feeling heavy, depressed, stuck, downhearted, powerless or without energy, use the ng sound to help raise your energy. If feeling lightheaded, spacey, unfocused or scattered use the sound ending in M to feel more grounded, strong and centered.
If having pain or tension in a place in the body, place your hands on that part of the body, either physically or by intention. Breathe energy into that place while toning the Bija Mantra for that energy center location.
