Iremember when I knew I was done having kids. It was 2:00 a.m. and I was sitting in a dark nursery in a rocking chair trying to soothe a cranky, hungry baby. I had never been that tired in my life and I said out loud to whoever was listening, “I can never be this tired again.”

Little did I know that my fatigue was not just new mom and baby tired. Hashimoto’s had just kicked in and tired was now a permanent piece of furniture in my life. Truth is, I would never fully be awake again.
