Happy Friday! Hiking is a great way to improve cardiovascular fitness and muscle strength, while enjoying the outdoors. Plus, you never know what friends you'll find! Remember, always study a trail map ahead of time and bring along a hard copy. You'll need plenty of water and some energy bars or snacks. Its good to hike with a buddy, but if you hike alone, always let someone know where you are, which trail and what time you expect to be finished. Have fun and be safe!
