10 reasons you should get your therapeutic massage at a small local business instead of a franchise
1) an hour massage is 60min not 50min
2) Average pay for franchise LMT is about $16 an hour massage, no matter what you paid for the massage.(some aren’t making a living wage)
3) more time to go over any questions you may have, areas to focus/avoid, etc.
4) Helps promote small businesses
5) No ‘one size fits all’ add ons( looking at you Massage Envy and Massage Heights)
6) Better music
7) No ‘impossible to get out of’ contracts
8 ) Actually a better value than membership at a franchise
9) LMT has more flexibility to offer or add more time, or an add-on without having to leave the room to get permission.
