There will be contests for fans of all ages including a target contest, a bat balancing contest, paper airplane toss, fan races, fastest pitch contest and even a dance off.

Saturday, July 26, is the last day of our summer wheelchair basketball season. These kids are so fun to watch and to be around.

Fan Participation ALWAYS makes for a more exciting game. You can have a huge impact on the outcome of this game with our buy-ins.

You can purchase everything from points to stolen bases to batting off a tee, designated runners or songs for home runs, or you can even have a player use an inflatable costume for an entire inning.

With the combination of Banana Ball rules and these buy-ins, this will be a game to remember!

We are one week away from the Battle of the Bases!

Have you ever heard of Banana Ball? It was created to be a more exciting form of baseball with fan involvement, dancing and a much faster pace.

We’re adopting 3 Banana Ball rules:
1. If a fan catches a ball, the batter is out! Bring a glove and catch those foul balls!
2. There are NO WALKS. If four balls are pitched to a batter, the batter starts running. We are modifying this one a little bit and only the basemen need to touch the ball before they can try to get the batter out. Yes- you can score an infield home run off of a walk.
3. Each team will have one Golden Batter. This means that each team has one opportunity to use any batter on their roster, at any point in the game. Are the bases loaded? Maybe bring out your heavy hitter to bring them all home…

There will be a lot of music, a lot of dancing and a lot of FUN.

Battle of the Bases is just around the corner! Here’s what you can expect that night:

🗓️ July 30, 2025
📍Summit Academy High School
(14942 S 560 W in Bluffdale, UT)

🪑 Seating is limited, please bring bring a lawn chair or a blanket to sit on.

6:00: Doors Open!
Buy your 🎟️’s at the door, stake your spot for the game, check out our raffle items, sign up for fan contests, eat some dinner, and see what buy-ins you can purchase to make the game more exciting!

6:45: National Anthem 🇺🇸 and Lineups

7:00: First Pitch ⚾️
Watch the Mayor’s and their teams go head to head in Banana Ball style softball! Be prepared to participate! If you catch a foul ball, the player is out! Fan contests will take place throughout the game. Mascots from Mascot Miracles will play against some Adaptive Arena Athletes, and the raffle prizes will be awarded throughout the game.

This event will be even bigger and better than last year and WE CAN'T WAIT! Come and join us!!

Allow me to introduce to you: THE BATTLE OF THE BASES!!

Mayor Hall of Bluffdale ( ) will go head to head with Mayor Palmer of Herriman ( ) in a softball game with rules similar to “Banana Ball!” This event raises funds for Adaptive Arena to keep our programs free for kids with disabilities.

⏰ Doors open at 6:00 and First Pitch is at 7:00
🎟️ Tickets are $10/adult, $5/kids ages 4-12

This fun game will feature as our MC, fan contests, a DJ, hilarious buy-ins, a raffle and will join us!
