Saturated fat itself is not the cause of heart disease. For years, butter and other traditional fats were blamed, while low-fat and highly processed foods were labeled “heart healthy.” That message left out the role of food quality and inflammation.

Heart health isn’t about fearing fat. It’s about choosing whole foods and understanding how inflammation affects the body.
