Life can shift in an instant - through illness, crisis, or the loss of someone we love. That sudden change became reality for Shelly Ivins. This year, we are honored to share Shelly’s story, a woman from our own community and Helping Hands’ volunteer, whose life took an unexpected turn when her husband, Cory, was diagnosed with cancer. What followed was a season marked by uncertainty, brokenness, but also by deep faith and restoration.
We’d love for YOU to be a part of our 6th Annual Women’s Initiative! Here are the ways you can be involved:
-You can host, by inviting your own group of women to your home or other location of your choice, groups typically consist of anywhere from 4-25 women! You can host this event anytime the weekend of February 27th - you get to pick. Shelly’s story will be shared through a link for your group to watch together. And everything - from tableware, drinks, appetizers, dessert, and décor are all provided; all you need to do is pick up your hosting kit from Helping Hands :)
-Otherwise, you can attend as a guest and we can connect you with a group, or you may even be invited by another woman in our community!
If you’d like to host or attend as a guest, please fill out the form below and we will connect with you! Questions, contact Kylie via email (kylie@helpinghandscpc.org) or call our office at 260-824-4263
