Halo was found left for dead on the side of the road in Effingham County GA. A young couple spotted her on their way to breakfast one Sunday morning. They said if she was still there on their way back they would get her. She was there....covered in blood, puncture wounds and clay with her throat ripped out. The young couple rushed her to the vet where surgery was performed to repair her throat. Halo was fought the night before and thrown out like a piece of trash. She suffers from horrible anxiety and aggression towards other dogs. She is an extremely loving dog towards humans and wants nothing more than to be loved. After years of searching for behaviorists or trainers to help her and being turned down time and time again, Halo finally caught a break. She has found someone to help her try and live a normal life. This page is to mark her journey from where she was starting back in Feb. 14, 2013 to the present. At this time we don't know what the future holds for Halo but we will all find out together. http://www.forcefreerescuerehab.com will be her trainer and the one who changes her life. Thanks to Heather with Fit for a Pit http://www.fit4apit.com/ has made this possible and here is a quote from her email to me:
"The bottom line is that Halo will not be pushed beyond her limit at any point, and will learn to do things at her own pace so she can feel safe and build trust." I now have hope for this kind hearted, loving, lonely, scared pittie girl whom I love with all my heart.
