The holidays are filled with opportunities for fine motor and sensory development. 🎄

Ms. Heather and Creed created ornaments with applesauce and cinnamon today! This project was great for touch and smell sensations. Rolling dough and using cookie cutters is awesome for building hand strength too! 💪

Food learning was especially festive today! 🎄

Michael conquered mixed textures while eating a delicious sandwich (new food 😅) and some of his favorite fruits!

Dominic invited his brother Anthony to breakfast. Together they enjoyed crafting while learning about chicken and cheese (2 more new foods 😅)!

“I’ve been a PTA for 2 years now, and I graduated from Kent State University. I love being a PTA because I love helping people and to know that I can make a difference in someone’s life is a blessing! I have always loved kids and now being able to make an impact on their lives and rehabilitation journey to improve their gross motor skills has been such an amazing experience! A few of my hobbies are shopping, watching movies and spending time with family, my husband and my dog, Canina!”
