Our Akeso team is joyfully preparing heartfelt gifts for our “Gifting for Seniors” project.

We wanted to share a project near and dear to our hearts that was started by our Akeso team member, Jeana. We noticed many elderly people in care facilities are on fixed incomes and are unable to obtain adequate monthly necessities. During the pandemic, we began collecting and distributing gifts to senior citizens in assisted living facilities. What started as a modest effort has grown significantly, with 700+ gift bags distributed last year, filled with essential items like towels and hygiene products, as well as joyful additions like crafts and puzzles. We are looking to give gifts that are heart-warming, fun and fill their daily needs. If you would like to donate items, they can be dropped off to our corporate office. Monetary donations can be made by either check or through the QR code above. Thank you 💙

We extend our heartfelt thank you to Petitti’s for their generous donation of mums to our “Mums for Moms” event for our hospice patients. Your beautiful flowers brought joy, happiness, and a touch of fall festivity to those in our care. We are truly grateful—thank you Petitti Garden Centers!

We celebrated Sweetest Day a little early last week with a beautiful vow renewal ceremony at Poland Village. Three couples renewed their vows at our event, making it a truly meaningful and memorable day.

We also did our own Akeso competition within the Peace Race. Congratulations to Tommy on first place, Melissa on second place and Kayela on third place.

We have a friendly and welcoming atmosphere where patients feel comfortable and cared for and patients have commented on how well our team gets along and they enjoy being here. The reason Akeso's atmosphere is outstanding is because as employees we are appreciated and valued as is shown to us in all Akeso does for each of us from all the "little things" to immediate response to any issues or requests for our clinic.
