Sweet Hank is tuckered out from his big weekend!
He traveled with Gage to canton to visit family, and gages uncles’ barber shop, Viking Barbershop ( check him out or message me for more info, he’s wonderful with kids with special needs!) Gage has always loved his hair cut, but this was Hanks first visit! When Hank heard the sound of the clippers, he tried to jump on Gages lap right away ( pressure therapy or to protect him, unsure which!!)

Again, Gage and I want to do a big shout out thank you to the Trauma Therapy Company, especially the owner, Kara Mumford, for training Hank for Gage. I honestly don’t know how she does it- training two dogs at once, running a business AS she trains them, and raising three beautiful kids. Kara has made such an impact already with the training she has given Hank and the improvement in Gages behavior. Gage now wants to go to stores because Gank can come with him.

Why a service dog? This is why. Gage ended up with a headache today ( but still wants to watch Halloween movies!) he was stressed a little from the pain. Hank picked up on the stress, and this is the result. Hank nearly comforted Gage right to sleep

Hank continues to do well! He’s doing “ place” and made it at my moms house with her fogs running around for 15-20 minutes as we ate dinner! ( kept giving sad eyes watching the other dogs do what he wasn’t allowed to do) Almost ready for his good citizen test already! Always follows gage around and rests by his feet.

I’ve been busy running kids, working and helping with Hank. It’s amazing how fast he is growing! He’s starting to work well on his leash. He loves to follow gage and still gets lovings from the girls. He’s mastered everything for the first puppy test, and we are working on the next one! He loves sticks, balls, and naps next to Gage.

Hank has taught Gage a lot of responsibility. Since bringing Hank home, melt downs are a lot less and Gage has a partner in crime to stay busy with. I was able to take Gage to the Portage county fair yesterday, and his anxiety showed but he was able to tell me what he needed. We spend a lot of time with the animal charity tents which Gage loved and bought things home for Hank!
