Holistic Counseling and Coaching Services are provided by Holistic Counselor, Jacqueline Glaros, PCC at the Ohio Naturopathic Wellness Center in Boardman, Ohio. Currently these services are being offered in a naturopathic setting and not in a traditional mental health outpatient facility due to promoting one's own capablities and strengths in improving your own optimal healthy living and wellness
in your life. It is an Integrated approach to concepts of Alternative Health Counseling and Coaching practices/philosophies along with traditional health care practices towards achieving wellness and balance in your life. It's a combination of our traditional Western world of healthcare practices along with Eastern world philosophies and spiritual practices to achieve your Yin and Yang in life. Clinical assessments can be provided also if needed due to reasons for starting treatment, however, this type of treatment is primarily driven by non-traditional clinical counseling procedures in providing a purely Humanistic personalized experience of the Here and Now/Present Moment focus and working on achieving overall balance in your life that is not focused on one's weaknesses or barriers such as physical/mental health conditions that may be of focus in traditional psychotherapy services. Treatment can be tailored to each individual using both styles of (focusing on you as a person and not focused on diagnostic in means of gearing treatment) as deemed necessary and in the best interest of promoting your own overall optimal progress in treatment by this Holistic Counselor. Jacqueline Glaros, PCC is also an independent licensed clinical therapist through the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist Board approved officially January 14th, 2011 to independently diagnose and treat mental and emotional disorders without supervision. Individual counseling/coaching sessions are designed for improving your own overall optimal healthy living and wellness domains (Emotional, Physical, Social, Spiritual, Intellectual and Occupational). Services are for individuals that are 18+ and is self-pay at this time; no insurances currently accepted, however sliding scale fees can be arranged based upon your financial abilities upon consult with Jacqueline Glaros, PCC-Holistic Counselor. Counseling and Coaching services are offered to individuals who are motivated to improve themselves overall in all areas of life. Support and guidance is now offered in a natural alternative health setting/facility geared towards helping everyone; not having to be deemed mentally ill or unhealthy in order to receive treatment. That is the difference of my services-it is very alternative in philosophical thoughts of being able to be "well" and continue on working towards optimal healthy living and not having to have a clinical diagnosis to receive emotional/mental health support! Services are primarily Alternative Counseling and Coaching treatments in design, but I am also able to integrate traditional clinical based recommendations in regards to diagnosis of mental/emotional health problems that are interfering with your daily functioning if deemed necessary by Jacqueline Glaros, PCC and/or per your request for both integrative approaches in your treatment. These services are very Humanistic/Person-Centered Based, Solution-Focused/Cognitive-Behavioral Based approaches, Existential in assisting you to find your own life's purpose and meaning in this world, Mindfulness-Cognitive Based approaches, and concepts of Positive Psychology (Law of attraction theory) will be implemented as part of your sessions in working towards your own individualized personal goals. Jacqueline Glaros, PCC-Holistic Counselor has a work background history as a case manager, on-call crisis worker, outpatient clinical therapist, educator, previous dance teacher in high school, retail/restaurant industry experience, career counselor/advisor, and independent business subcontractor now along with working at a local community hospital wellness center. I have worked in the mental health field for 10 years now, worked in schools, and also at Youngstown State University student service offices-Career Services, Advising and Student Life Services during graduate school training. I also have worked in the banking, retail, restaurant industries and taught dance lessons in my past which have all lead me to this point of my career. I want to be able to share inspiration with you in working towards Long life, Harmony, Passion and Balance since "Life" was my greatest teacher along with my extensive educational preparation and work experiences to affect me personally and professionally.
