Hearing Missions Foundation A non-profit affiliate of Centers for Hearing Care

A non-profit all-volunteer organization, our purpose is to deliver the gift of hearing to individuals in financial crisis who would otherwise live in the isolation of a silent world. This nonprofit Corporation firmly believes that all hearing impaired individuals anywhere in the world are equally deserving of the most basic assistance to help them hear better.

Every child deserves the chance to hear the world around them, and thanks to the incredible partnership with Rotary International, Starkey Hearing Foundation, and Offor Mercy Fund, we’re making that possible. Hear from Richard Tirpak, Rotary District 6650 Governor, as he reflects on the deep emotional impact of seeing children receive the gift of hearing.

These moments aren’t just life-changing—they’re life-saving. Many of the young adults shown in this video have been helped by our volunteers since 1999, and for many of them, this mission was a powerful moment of reconnection. After receiving their new hearing aids, they had the chance to hear Grammy-nominated singer Blessing Offor perform live—a truly unforgettable experience. This is what happens when we come together to give the gift of hearing. 🧡

How can you help? Spread the word, donate hearing aids, make a monetary contribution, volunteer, or host a fundraiser. Every action counts in making a lasting difference.

The Hearing Missions Foundation is dedicated to delivering the gift of hearing to those in deep financial need—one person at a time, with love and compassion.

In Guatemala, access to hearing care is incredibly limited, but organizations like Comité Pro Ciegos y Sordos are changing lives. With hospitals, schools, and outreach programs, they provide thousands with free hearing aids, batteries, and ongoing support.

One of the greatest gifts on this journey has been Allan Rousselin. Since 2014, his leadership and dedication have brought sustainability to our mission, ensuring that the work we do continues to change lives for years to come.

This is why these missions matter. This is the power of coming together to make a difference. 🧡

We’re honored to give these life-changing devices a second chance—bringing hope and connection both locally and globally. 🌍

If you have old hearing aids, don’t toss them! Bring them into any Centers for Hearing Care office to give them a second home and purpose.

The Hear in Cleveland event, founded by Dr. David Rosenberg from University Hospitals and Fortunato Figliano from Centers for Hearing Care, was part of the Medworks/MedWish initiative at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland. This event provided essential services like dental, optical, and other medical specialties to the community free of charge.

We were proud to collaborate with ENT specialists and audiologists from University Hospitals as well as audiologists from Kent State University through the Northeast Ohio Au.D. Consortium and Cleveland State University. The NOAC audiology students, led by Dr. Anne Baker and Dr. Myrna Forbes, took the lead in conducting hearing tests and providing vital care to those in need alongside students from Cleveland State University’s own Speech and Hearing Program, spearheaded by Dr. Myrita Wilhite.

Individuals from Centers for Hearing Care, including Dr. Sheryl Figliano, Dr. Amanda Grove Kenney, Jack Mashburn, H.A.S., Katie Craine, and Penny May, H.A.S. also volunteered alongside these talented students.

This event was a remarkable example of collaboration, making it possible for individuals in need to receive top-tier hearing care at no cost. We are excited to continue building upon this work to ensure hearing health is accessible for all.
