Five years ago, Sarah Frias began her journey with Next Level Wellness & Behavioral Health as a Family Service Specialist and today, we’re proud to celebrate her incredible growth as Managing Partner. From her early days of direct client support to leading with purpose and integrity, Sarah’s path reflects her unwavering dedication to recovery, wellness, and helping others reach their own “next level.”

Even as a Managing Partner, Sarah stays deeply connected to her roots in service. A nurse of 15+ years and a woman in long-term recovery, she blends clinical expertise with heartfelt compassion. Selena Gomez opens up about her journey with bipolar disorder and the lessons hidden in life’s hardest moments. “There’s a blessing in the breaking,” she shares with a reminder that pain, in all its forms, can still hold purpose.

From moments of frustration on the road to losing someone you deeply love, her words carry a quiet truth: there’s no perfect way to heal, only honest choices along the way.

Healing isn’t about perfection, it’s about awareness, grace, and choosing to respond instead of react. It’s learning how to honor what’s been lost while rediscovering who you are becoming.

Through her vulnerability, Selena reminds us that growth begins where self-compassion meets understanding that even in the breaking, we can choose to become whole.

Digital addiction doesn’t just steal your screen time, it slowly steals your life.

If you’re checking your phone constantly, losing sleep to scrolling, or feeling anxious when you’re “offline,” you’re not alone and you’re not broken, your brain has been trained by endless notifications and infinite feeds.

At Next Level, we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all “just turn it off” advice; we help you build a sustainable digital detox plan that fits your real life, with trauma-informed support, family involvement, and coaching grounded in behavioral health, not judgment.

Your first step doesn’t have to be drastic, it just has to be intentional. If you’re ready to reclaim your focus, your relationships, and your peace from digital addiction, reach out to schedule a confidential, judgment-free consultation and learn what digital recovery can look like for you at Next Level.

Join Maryann Walsh, MFN, RD, CDE, Registered Dietitian and me for a live webinar today, January 27 2026, at 12:30 PM EST on the Levels Without Limits Series “How to Stop Being Your Industry’s Best Kept Secret.”

Originally born and raised in the tiny state of Rhode Island, Maryann grew up in a household of “serial dieters”, which led her to become increasingly intrigued by the mystique around weight loss and weight management that eluded not only members of her family but so many people she met as well. Maryann became infatuated with learning everything she could about nutrition, diet and behavior change and how she could simplify it not only for herself and her family but for others as well.

Maryann went on to complete dual bachelors degrees in Biological Sciences and Nutrition and Dietetics as well as a Masters Degree in Food and Nutrition and is currently working towards her Doctorate in Psychology. Maryann has lent her expertise to numerous online and print publications including Huffington Post, Shape and Men’s Journal as well as to news network affiliate appearances on NBC, CBS and ABC.

Tom Holland shares a powerful reflection on sobriety, recalling a moment when his lawyer offered a simple yet grounding piece of advice: “You’ll never wake up the next day and say, I wish I had a drink last night. Never.”

In that truth lies a deeper message, real strength is found in the quiet choices we make when no one is watching. Choosing clarity over escape. Connection over impulse. Growth over instant relief.

Through his honesty, Tom reminds us that recovery is not about deprivation, it’s about reclaiming peace, self-trust, and presence. Every decision not to drink is a step toward remembering who you truly are and who you’re becoming.

At Next Level, we walk beside every person learning to make those choices, one day, one moment, one decision at a time. Change begins with awareness, and that awareness starts today.

Family meetings at Next Level Wellness & Behavioral Health are compassionate, structured conversations, not high-pressure interventions, and not every family or professional meeting needs to end with someone entering treatment.

Instead, our team assesses the appropriate level of care and designs customized plans that meet each individual and family exactly where they are, clinically and emotionally.

Our lead interventionists, Founder Amanda Marino, B.S., CIP, CLC, CRC, and Licensed Psychologist Dr. Laura Ellick, Ph.D., CCTP, CIP, walk alongside families facing substance use, co-occurring mental health, eating disorders, process addictions, and “failure to launch” patterns that keep loved ones stuck.

With medical and clinical support from Managing Partner Sarah Frias, RN, and Clinical Psychologist Dr. Huttman, every plan is carefully coordinated before, during, and long after the initial meeting, so your family never has to navigate this alone.

If you’re feeling scared, exhausted, or out of options, you’re not. Your story is your own, and your plan should be too.

America is in the middle of a quiet cultural reset: only 54% of adults now drink alcohol, and that number has fallen sharply from 67% in 2021 to 54% in 2024.

Among those who do drink, fewer are reaching for alcohol regularly just 24% had a drink yesterday, 40% haven’t touched it in a week, and the average is down to 2.8 drinks per week, the lowest in nearly three decades.

Young adults are driving this shift in a big way: only about half of 18–34 year olds drink now, down from 72%, and most understand that “moderate drinking” is essential because they have access to real research, better education, and a different vision of what “fun” looks like. This isn’t about restriction, it’s about performance, mental clarity, and long-term health, and it’s changing how an entire generation approaches nights out, recovery, and self-care.

At Next Level, this new mindset is the baseline, not the exception. The focus is on tools that support your body, better sleep, faster recovery, more energy and resilience, so you can show up clear, strong, and present in every area of your life instead of losing days to hangovers and burnout. If you feel yourself drinking less, questioning old habits, or getting curious about what life looks like with more control and more capacity, you’re already part of this movement.

Sometimes it’s not the crisis that breaks you, it’s the burnout that sneaks up after you’ve been “holding it together” for too long.

In a powerful conversation, Managing Partner Sarah Frias sits down with our newest team member, Licensed Psychologist, Lead Interventionist, and Head of the Eating Disorder Program, Dr. Laura Ellick to unpack the three C’s that make recovery sustainable: consistency, connection, and refusing to slip into complacency.

When you keep showing up, stay honest about how you’re really doing, and stay connected instead of isolating, recovery stops being a concept and starts becoming a lived reality.

They also name what so many people (and providers) overlook: burnout. Burnout in recovery, burnout in caregiving, burnout in treatment itself, and why it deserves the same respect and attention as any other diagnosis. If you’ve been “white‑knuckling it,” sliding off meds, or drifting back into old patterns, this conversation is your reminder that you don’t have to do it alone and you’re not failing, you’re tired, and support exists for that.

Ready to rebuild with consistency, connection, and real support? Tap the link in bio to learn more about working with Dr. Ellick and the Next Level team, or reach out today to start a conversation about what you need next.
