Did you know repetition is key for your child’s brain to learn something new? 🧠

In many cases, it can take 400+ repetitions to strengthen a new brain connection.

But when learning happens through play?
It may take only 10 to 20 meaningful repetitions.

Why does that happen?

Because fun and curiosity activate the brain’s reward system. When a child is engaged and enjoying the moment, the brain releases chemicals that boost learning and memory.

On the other hand, dull drills require much more effort to build those same neural connections.

It’s the difference between boring homework and a favorite game.
Both involve repetition — but one makes the brain light up.

That’s why in therapy, we don’t just repeat.
We use purposeful play to help skills stick. 💙
