I'll be the first to admit that my default reaction to stress is to go into ostrich or hermit mode. Hiding out and shutting the world out may feel safe at first but it always comes at a price. It reminds me of an old movie called House of Sand and Fog.

Eventually we need to come back to the light, pay those overdue bills and taxes that we ignored while hiding and get our lives back in order.

Let's celebrate the fact that we had the courage to get back up!
