TEMPORARY OFFICE CLOSURE DUE TO CORONAVIRUS

After receiving recommendations from the American Dental Association to postpone elective procedures and heeding the recommendations from the CDC to implement social distancing in an effort to help slow the spread of COVID-19, our office has made the decision to cancel all non-emergent dental appointments for the next two weeks starting Monday, March 23, 2020. Our highest priority is the health and safety of our patients, their loved ones, our team and our community.

We will be available for dental emergencies, so if you are in pain, please call our office and we will make arrangements on a case-by-case basis.

We hope everyone remains safe, healthy and unaffected by this outbreak. We will continue to monitor the situation as more information unfolds and send updates accordingly.

The Bahamas have been devastated by Hurricane Dorian. We feel very fortunate that we did not feel the impact of Dorian as the Bahamas did, but at the same time, we are saddened by the immense loss they have endured. In an effort to make as much as of an impact as we possibly can, we will be donating the $10 OSHA fee from every appointment this week to Samaritan’s Purse.

At the request of the World Health Organization, Samaritain’s Purse opened an Emergency Field Hospital in Freeport. With this Tier 2 facility in place, a team of surgeons, physicians, nurses, pharmaceutical staff, and biotech engineers will be able to provide medical care for up to 100 outpatient cases per day. Samaritan’s Purse has also established a base of operations in Marsh Harbour—working to bring emergency shelter material, clean water, and critical supplies to families who lost everything.
