You can heal your trauma… and still feel something when it’s touched.
That doesn’t mean you “didn’t do the work.”
It means you’re human.
Healing isn’t emotional anesthesia.
It’s regulation.
It’s choice.
It’s not getting hijacked for three days.
It’s being able to say, “That still feels tender,” without spiraling.
Scar tissue is strong.
But it can still feel the weather change.
If you’ve ever thought,
“Why does this still bother me? I thought I healed this.”
You probably did.
Sensitivity after healing isn’t failure.
It’s integration.
If this resonates, save it.
If someone needs to hear it, send it.
And if you’re ready to do the kind of work that builds strength without shutting you down.
