A major advancement in pancreatic cancer treatment: a new phase 1/2 clinical trial shows that daraxonrasib, an experimental oral targeted therapy, significantly improved survival for patients with previously treated metastatic pancreatic cancer.
Special congratulations to Dr. Kyaw Aung, medical oncologist at Baptist Health Herbert Wertheim Cancer Institute, who served as a co-author on the landmark publication. The therapy targets RAS mutations, found in more than 90% of pancreatic cancers, a long-elusive target that may mark a new era in how this disease is treated.
