While South Florida has had some chilly nights the last few weeks, it cannot compare to the deep freeze with below zero conditions in many parts of the nation. For those who come from the Great White North (Canada), the mind turns to thoughts of hockey. Hockey can be played by both the young and the old. I’d like to believe that exposure to the cold helps keep those nasty plaques and tangles away so as not to develop Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia. As a former Canadian, I still put on the blades to play in the “Old Guys Hockey League.” Judging from these videos, seniors much older than this 57-year old are out there hitting the ice:
