Melissa recently got over a cold… but like a lot of people, the exhaustion stuck around way longer than the actual illness. 😅

Sometimes after your body spends days fighting something off, you’re left feeling depleted, dehydrated, foggy, and low-energy even once the “sick” part is technically over.

Walked in today and found the team fully reclined in the massage chairs doing IV therapy on each other between patients… and honestly, I can’t even be mad about it. 🤍

Hydration, vitamins, a little nervous system reset, and five quiet minutes can go a long way during a busy week.

Most people would think something went wrong here…

But this is actually a pretty normal healing response after aggressive Morpheus8 Body treatment — especially on the stomach and especially in skin types like mine (I’m a Fitzpatrick III).

Face and body skin heal VERY differently. Body treatments are deeper, recovery is longer, and inflammation can hang around for weeks. Even me, the doctor, was a little surprised at how “rowdy” my stomach still looked 3+ weeks later. 😅

That said… redness and prolonged healing are often signs that your body is actively remodeling collagen under the surface. This part requires patience.

Not everything in aesthetics is instant gratification. Some of the best results take time. 🤍

As someone VERY pale… finding a tinted SPF that doesn’t turn orange has always been a struggle 😂

But Colorescience finally released a lighter shade — FAIR — and I’m genuinely obsessed.

It still gives that healthy glow and SPF protection without looking too dark or heavy on the skin.

So if you’ve ever felt like tinted SPF shades were never made for fair skin… this one is definitely worth trying ✨

One of the biggest differences with Ultherapy is depth.

Sofwave treats more superficially at a single depth. With Ultherapy, we can treat that same more superficial layer plus deeper structural layers beneath the skin — and we can actually visualize those tissue layers in real time during treatment.
