LARGE WORKGROUP MEETING Scheduled for May 20th has been Cancelled. This was the last meeting of the school year, We will resume our Large Workgroup Meetings in August 2025. Don't forget our YOUTH SIM Workshop is in-person 8:30-3:00 Boerne ISD Central Office, tomorrow Thursday May 15.

The Kendall County Behavioral Health Advisory Coalition is thankful for the community leaders who joined us to discuss the critical need for behavioral health services for our aging population in Kendall County.

A special thanks to The Center, Comfort Golden Age Center, and Ed Rogers, Representative from the Texas Silver Haired Legislature, for sharing valuable updates and advocating for the well-being of our older adults. We also appreciate Trisha for providing important updates from the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services with Adult Protective Services.

We are especially grateful to Immanuel Lutheran Church in Comfort for graciously hosting our Large Workgroup meeting. Your support helps us continue these vital conversations!

We had a great turn out for our Large Workgroup meeting yesterday. Huge thank you to Dr. Craft, Rick Goodrich, Krista Pomeroy, and BISD for sharing your space and presenting great information on safety and security and student support services. Thank you Aubrie, and Sarah, and HCCADA for letting us know about prevention, intervention, and recovery support resources for substance abuse right her in the Hill Country.

Join us in March 18, 2025 Immanuel Lutheran in Comfort for our next large workgroup, where we will hear from our Older Adult Workgroup, and NAMI Greater San Antonio on all the ways they support behavioral health in Kendall County.

Just a reminder to join us this week, Thursday January 30, from 9-10:30 for our 3rd large work group meeting with all of our work groups plus the community. We will meet at BISD Central office (enter from the Lohman St. Side). Come help us create educations, access, and collaboration for Behavioral Health in Kendall County.
