We are so honored to share that the first Mary Lynn Palmer Nursing Scholarship will be awarded THIS YEAR to a 2026 Rivercrest High School graduate.

So many of you have reached out asking how you can give, support, and be part of this—and it truly means more than we can put into words. Donation links for PayPal, Cash App, and Venmo are included below, and contributions can also be made directly at Guaranty Bank & Trust.

My mom had such a heart for caring for others, and it’s incredibly special to see her legacy continue in this way. This scholarship exists because of YOU—your generosity, your prayers, and your love. Thank you for helping us support future nurses for years to come, all in memory her.

• BOGATA HEALTH CLINIC UPDATE • please share!

First, my family and I want you to know that we are still here at Bogata Health Clinic. At this time, I am on leave from my current job and am working at the clinic almost daily to take calls, answer questions, and assist you in any way I can. While we are not fully certain of all the details, we felt it was important to share an update on what has been laid on our hearts for the future of BHC.

Our desire is to keep the clinic open. Continuing her work at Bogata Health Clinic is what my mom wanted, and we want to honor her by doing everything we can to make that possible. While we sort through the logistics, we will continue to keep you posted with updates and announcements as we learn more. In the meantime, please feel free to contact me at the clinic if you need assistance.

Thank you for being so wonderful. Your love and devotion to her, both as patients and as friends, has been immeasurable. We are deeply grateful for your continued patience and prayers as we navigate this process, and we hope to see you again very soon at Bogata Health Clinic.

P.S. Please know there is so much I want to say about my mother—the life she lived, her journey through cancer, and now her legacy. And I will, eventually. For now, I’m waiting on God to give me the words.

Many patients and friends have called and texted and asked where they can send money?

The family wants your money to go where YOU intend it to- so please specify on your checks or donations if you want it to go to family and clinic to tie up loose ends there for all her medical bills, clinic bills etc. .. or to the scholarship fund. We truly appreciate your kindness and generosity.

An account was set up today at Guaranty Bank & Trust to honor Mary Lynn.

Money can be donated to the Mary Lynn Palmer Nursing Scholarship Fund.

Each year, a recipient from her hometown Alma Mater, Rivercrest High School, will be awarded this scholarship in pursuing a Nursing Career.

The requirements to receive this scholarship will be determined through the school and family and outlined soon. … but the account is open.

Thank you for helping to honor her and continuing to help the community she loved and served.

It is with deep sorrow that we are letting our friends, family, and patients know that our sweet beloved Mary Lynn has passed from this life to her eternal home in heaven.

We ask that you be patient
with us as the staff and family grieve and make decisions going forward.

Mary Lynn loved her clinic, her patients and staff, and serving her community. She has made a lasting impact on us all.
