Yesterday's Lunch and Learn at The Tribute Center and Garden, Lake Ronkonkma, provided those who attended a comprehensive overview on pre-planning funerals, and estates. Funeral directors Danielle Moloney-Hassett, Danielle Marino, and Richie Papile along with Wayne Carrabus, ESQ., CPA from Futterman Lanza, LLP, gave an insightful presentation and answered many questions during lunch.

Dan Moloney Jr., owner and president of Moloney Funeral Homes, served from 1980-1983 in the United States Navy aboard the USS George C. Marshall SSBN 654 Gold Crew. He served in Holy Loch Scotland, Charleston SC, and Newport News, Va. We appreciate the Lake Ronkonkoma Heritage Association for allowing us the opportunity to acknowledge Dan's military service. We are proud of Dan for both his military service and his continued dedication to the community.

🌟 We’re proud to celebrate Danielle Moloney-Hassett, one of our dedicated board members, for her unwavering commitment to empowering the next generation of Girl Scout leaders.

A Hofstra University graduate, Danielle spent several years in Public Relations before joining her family’s business over a decade ago. As a Licensed Funeral Director and Vice President of Moloney Family Funeral Homes, she proudly carries forward her family’s legacy of compassion and service.

Danielle’s passion for making a difference shines through in all that she does — from her professional role to her volunteer work in the Lake Grove community where she lives with her husband, Ray (a firefighter with the FDNY), and their four children.
