We’re just one week away from our very first Virtual Presentation Focus Group, and we’d love your help! Your insights are incredibly important as we explore how this innovative technology can make a difference for seniors, individuals with disabilities, and the wider community.

Over the past thirty years, research has shown the amazing benefits this technology can bring to structured treatments for older adults, such as:

1. Helping to promote and maintain positive emotional states.
2. Acting as a distraction to ease the perception of pain.
3. Reducing feelings of isolation and loneliness.
4. Counteracting negative emotional states, among other perks!

Plus, studies suggest that virtual reality (VR) can boost memory, focus, problem-solving skills, and communication abilities.

Kicking off from Eisenhower Park on Long Island, this walk helps fund crucial programs and services provided by BIANYS.
