Dear Connetquot Community,
This morning I am reaching out on behalf of one of our families.
Early Friday evening at about 5:30 p.m. Ronkonkoma Middle School student Nysia Rengifo went missing. She was last seen near her house on Rose Drive in Ronkonoma. The school district has been in close communication with her family, as well as the Suffolk County Police Department 4th Precinct. An extensive search began last night and has continued into today.
If anyone has seen Nysia or has information that would help to determine her location please contact the 4th Precinct at (631) 854-8400. A photo of Nysia has been placed on the district website and social media.
A hallmark of our community is how we rally together in support of our children. I thank you all for any assistance you can provide.
