We are looking for PT and FT and have a variety of shifts open. Also looking for a PRN staff, to help fill vacations and sick time.
We primarily house mentally ill residents who need help with some ADL's, cooking, cleaning, medication dispensing etc. Smaller house with a total of 14 beds.
We are looking for a competent Caregiver to care for our residents in a professional and compassionate manner. The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help residents.

We have two homes that provide care for our mental health population to help them live safely and independently in a home-like setting. We are small homes with 11 beds in each facility. Our mission is to improve lives through quality care.

We have one weekend day position available.
Shifts available are:
Friday, Saturday and Sunday 7am-7pm

Requirements:
All candidates must pass a state-required criminal background check.
Positive attitude one of compassion and a sincere desire to help others
Ability to take direction, follow rules exactly, be proactive and thoughtful
Be able to lift at least 20lbs
Be 18 years of age or older
Be able to pass medication tech class. As a Med Tech, you will be responsible for assisting our residents with the administration of their medications.
Possess good interpersonal communication skills
CPR/First aide certification
Attend ongoing training deemed pertinent by Administrator

Job Types: Full-time

Pay: $12 - $12.50 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All residents have been vaccinated. Employees will be offered vaccines, but not required to have.

Camas Home is hiring for Caregiver/Med Techs. We primarily house mentally ill residents who need help with some ADL's, cooking, cleaning, medication dispensing etc. Smaller house with a total of 11 beds.

Looking for Friday-Sunday 7am-7pm
Week days shifts available as well.

We are looking for a competent Caregiver to care for our residents in a professional and compassionate manner. The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help residents.

Responsibilities
Help clients take prescribed medication
Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
Be a pleasant and supportive companion
Report any unusual incidents
Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Skills
Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
Respectful and compassionate
Good time management skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Strong ethics

While the resident is from Idaho, the students go to school at Purdue University in Indiana, Northwestern University in Illinois, and Scripps College in California, which makes for lots of interesting conversation and a variety of different experiences.
