A love letter to you, on this 5th anniversary of Catalyst.
Five years ago, when Stephanie and I started Catalyst Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine, we couldn’t have imagined the twists and turns ahead. We never expected a global pandemic to challenge us so soon, nor could we have foreseen the remarkable support and care from our patients. Your influence on our journey has been immense and deeply appreciated.

Over the past few years of running Catalyst solo, I’ve developed a profound appreciation for how therapeutic this space has become for patients and for me as well. I'm fortunate to work in an environment that fosters rest, balance, and a human-centered approach. What I have learned from working with each of you is priceless. Thank you for sharing your lives and challenges, showing up for appointments on time, exposing your pulse, and letting me be a witness to your life.

I’ve been privileged to accompany many different journeys, sensing shifts in your pulse through loss, stress, pain, joy, divorces, marriages, pregnancies, cancer, illness, and trauma. Each pulse I felt beneath my fingertips would guide me in placing needles where they seemed to write a unique poem for each person. While I strive to explain why I choose certain points, often the most straightforward answer is, "Because your body guided me there." Thank you for letting me practice mt prose, for letting me learn and be taught

I hope I have left you better than I found you and that our exchanges were meaningful and authentic. I promise to continue to do my best to help you become more embodied and empowered. My biggest desire is that you find and harness that incredible power within you.

After seven years of practice and five years of running my business, I feel like I’m finally hitting my stride, and I have you to thank for it!

If you are late to you appointment because of voting please let us know by texting or calling at 2089061441. We can be flexible today since there were some cancelations and the schedule is somewhat loose to accommodate this incredible responsibility.

Our unique clinic rooms provide a visceral calmness that is unable to capture in photos. A tangible feeling or energy exists in each of them. We call this room the "Cocoon." It is not an exaggeration to say that this is a space for metamorphosis. It offers a chamber to safely move inwards, deeply unwind and shift -allowing a new perspective to emerge. Not only are the needles and herbs therapeutic, but we'd like to believe that the space is too. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Spring- A time for new growth and expansion. The energetics of this time are inherently yang in nature. We emerge from our yin form and begin to move forward. The liver and Gallbladder work in conjunction to plan and also execute our goals and desires. Take the time to set intentions but also balance those goals with flexibility and ease. As yang energy builds, our emotional state can quickly escalate. Anger is the energetic emotion associated with spring. Allow yourself to feel this vital emotion, and make sure to find an outlet, so resentment does not dictate your entire outlook on this transformative time. This is our chance to shake the dust off that settled in the winter. Move your body, turn on music, stomp your feet, and breath big and deep. Remind yourself that the obstacles ahead can give way to creative solutions.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Verbal harassment is the most common form of discrimination. 1/3 of people surveyed for a study about Anti-Asian incidents reported that they witnessed someone blaming Asian people for the pandemic.
