About Me

I have always been a nurse. I have never thought of having any other career. Some of my earliest memories are of bandaging up my dad! I loved working in the hospital setting but when I started to spend more time doing paperwork than I did with my patients, I knew it was time to make a change in my career.

I attended a rural high school in Northern Idaho in a graduating class of 26 students! I went straight to college after graduation. I applied to nursing school in my sophomore year. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1994 from Idaho State University in Pocatello, ID. I found that I really love teaching my patients, so I later returned to ISU to obtain my Master's in Public Health Degree which focused primarily on patient education and concurrently studied for my Master's Degree in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I graduated with honors in 2003 and 2004 respectively.

I have experience in Cardiology, Urgent Care, Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Family Medicine, and Hormone Replacement Therapy. I offer comprehensive adolescent and adult primary care, and hormone replacement therapy, as well as regenerative medicine.

Continuous education is imperative in order for me to provide the most up to date information and treatment options for my patients. I am currently preparing for certification as a menopause practitioner through The North American Menopause Society. I am interested in alternative and natural medicine.
