We are honored to introduce Kaitlin, one of our incredible registered nurses at the Saint Alphonsus Family Maternity Center, specializing in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum couplet care.
โI began my career at Saint Alphonsus as a new graduate in 2016. In 2019, my husband (also a nurse) and I set out on the road as travel nurses, taking assignments across the country. When we became pregnant with our son, I knew without hesitation that we needed to return to work at Saint Alphonsus in Boise. I wanted to deliver him surrounded by the colleagues who had become my work family. I returned in 2021, and I havenโt looked back.โ
โThe culture within the Family Maternity Center is truly one of a kind-rooted in safety, teamwork, and genuine camaraderie. Nurses, techs, CNAs, and providers work seamlessly together to deliver extraordinary care to families in our community.โ
โI love being a labor and delivery nurse because I get to be part of one of the most incredible, life-changing moments a family will ever experience. Every shift reminds me how strong women are, how resilient newborns can be, and how much joy can come from the hardest work. I truly love my job and wouldnโt trade it for anything.โ
Outside of work, Kaitlin is a full-time mom who loves everything the Treasure Valley has to offer from Top Golf, the Zoo, and Roaring Springs, to camping in Stanley & McCall, skiing at Bogus Basin, and sledding at Eagle Island. Kaitlin, we are so grateful for your passion, dedication, and the extraordinary care you provide to families every day. You make a difference, and we are proud to have you on the Saint Alโs team!
