For years, testosterone in women has been reduced to one conversation: libido. But, women know it’s so much more than that.
A new study, “Testosterone Replacement Therapy in Women Is Associated with Improved Symptom Burden and Favorable Biomarker Changes,” found improvements in energy, mood, irritability, motivation, cognitive function, and overall symptom burden, and not just sexual health.
This is huge!
Women deserve to have their fatigue, brain fog, low motivation, mood changes, and overall vitality taken seriously, and not dismissed.
Hormone health is never just about one symptom. It’s about quality of life.
I’m glad research is finally starting to reflect what many of us in hormone medicine have seen for years.
