The real reason your cortisol is high (and why you can’t fix it).

First things first:

Cortisol isn’t the problem.

It’s doing exactly what it’s designed to do — responding to the signals it’s given.

When your MD says your labs are normal, but you know what you feel is not…

That can actually be something to celebrate — and here’s why.

Doctors are trained to identify pathology and disease. If they say nothing is wrong, it means there is no disease present. That doesn’t invalidate how you feel, but it should offer some relief.

Think of it like taking your car in because something feels off, and the mechanic says, “Nothing is broken.” You’d be relieved — you probably just saved thousands. Then they add, “You might just need air in your tires and gas in the tank.”

For the parents in the thick of it…

If you’re raising a highly sensitive, highly emotional child, we see you.

Throughout our journey with our little boy there is no question we started out with all the wrong questions:
