People go to therapy for various reasons, such as major life transitions or unhelpful thoughts. But it varies from person to person. One thing to keep in mind when seeking help from a therapist is that it may take several months and help from different therapists along the way. Boise Counseling Center History

In 1984, Steven Lanzet opened Boise Counseling Center with the intention of helping clients make significant and lasting changes in their lives. Over the years, as we progressed, we moved to a number of different locations and have been fortunate to attract some of the best clinicians in Idaho to continue our mission of becoming significant in the lives of our clients.

Now in our newest home, in a beautiful mid-century modern space, designed to meet our needs with custom offices and a spacious, comfortable group space for seminars, therapy groups, and meetings, we are committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment where individuals, couples, families, and organizations can do their work with the help of our highly skilled and experienced group of individual private practice clinicians.
