My friend and local award-winning documentary filmmaker, Jennifer Isenhart, has just completed her newest film, The Cholesterol Code, and it will be screening next month in Boise.
You might know Jen's work from her film, Fat Fiction (2020), which she was inspired to make when she participated in my RESTART® class a few years ago.
The Cholesterol Code follows a multi-year, groundbreaking study that challenges the long-held assumption that high LDL Cholesterol levels are always predictive of cardiovascular risk (hint: they are NOT, especially when found in people following low carb and ketogenic diets). This is critical information for all of us, especially those who have been fearfully influenced by their doctors about their cholesterol numbers.
The film is launching with a series of community-organized theater screenings, and Jen has set the Boise screening for Thursday, April 16th at The Flicks. I will be helping to facilitate the post-film Q&A session, and would love to see you there.
See below to watch the film's trailer and for ticket links. (We need to sell a minimum number of seats for the event to run, so if you're interested, please buy your tickets ahead of time!).
Thanks!
