Last week, Julia Loew and Steve Shell represented MWI at the AHNTI-EU Meeting, one of the most highly regarded gatherings in the veterinary and regenerative medicine industries.

Julia joined a panel of thought leaders to discuss the future of regenerative medicine, exploring the clinical potential of cell and gene therapies and how they’re shaping veterinary care. She also recorded a podcast while at the event, where she shared her insights on innovation in the field (stay tuned for the release!).

Steve participated in a panel and was also featured in “10 Questions with Steve Shell,” where he shared his perspective on advancing veterinary medicine through collaboration and innovation.

Proud to be recognized in the IVC Evidensia 2025 Sustainability Report as a partner advancing sustainable procurement and responsible sourcing across veterinary care.

By consolidating deliveries for core medicines and consumables, IVC’s UK practices have helped save 6M+ road miles, eliminated 440K+ wholesaler drops, and reduced emissions by ~2,000 tCO₂e since the shift began.

Practices report that fewer deliveries not only lighten their environmental footprint—they also make day-to-day operations easier, with no disruption to patient care.

In 2025, the model expanded into Canada, reducing delivery frequency by ~30% (from 3.4 to 2.4 weekly deliveries). Work continues in 2026 to drive further reductions, including coordinating same‑day delivery routes for nearby practices.

We’re excited to continue this sustainability journey—helping practices join a growing movement to reduce environmental impact across the entire veterinary supply chain.

That's a wrap on VMX 2026! 🙌

What a blast?! We loved connecting with so many veterinary professionals, hearing what’s happening in your practices, and sharing what we’ve been working on at our booth, from new launches to the latest product updates.

A highlight for us was hosting CE sessions on Vet-Telligence: simplifying clinic finances, as well as Furscription: the secure, cloud-based platform that centralizes veterinary prescription management. By automating workflows and ensuring regulatory compliance, it saves time, reduces stress, and empowers clinics to operate efficiently while protecting veterinarians’ licenses.

We also had a great time running wet labs and getting hands on with attendees.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to meet the team, ask questions, and swap ideas.

Making a difference together!

On 13th January, our UK leadership team spent a day volunteering at the Blue Cross Horse Unit in Burford. From clearing barns and reorganising storage to learning about the charity’s incredible rehoming work, the team came together to give back and support this vital cause.

At MWI, every colleague has the opportunity to spend a day volunteering to make a positive impact. Whether it’s with a local charity or a cause close to their heart, we love to share their stories!
