"You can ask any vet, and they would all agree: they cannot function without their nurses."

This Veterinary Nurse Awareness Month, we spoke to a few of our MWI team members, who have previously worked as veterinary nurses some questions about their experience to highlight the incredible work nurses do every day. From caring for patients to providing support during tough times, veterinary nurses are the backbone of the practice. It’s inevitable that we’re all going to encounter tough days at work, but it’s all about how you react and ensuring you have the right tools to get you through.

We just wanted to share a few tips that you can pick up and put down as needed.

It’s not always possible to implement them all—we know that on those busy days, the last thing you’ll make time for is a stretching break!

However, even if one of these tips sticks with you and helps you or your team through those difficult times, we’ll be happy.

We've got a new look! 👀

For those who don't remember how we got here, here's a refresher:

On August 30, 2023 we let you know that our parent company, AmerisourceBergen, changed its name to Cencora.

As of that date, all businesses formerly part of AmerisourceBergen became businesses of Cencora, including the animal health portfolio of companies: MWI Animal Health, Micro Technologies, AllyDVM, and Securos Surgical.

So how does that relate to our updated logo and branding?

Since that announcement, Cencora has been working with its fifty-nine brands across the globe to adopt this new name and, in 2025, we are excited to announce that Cencora’s animal health brands will be changing their visual branding as part of this multi-year initiative.

That's where MWI (and our updated logo and branding) comes in. This new look is the next step in our brand's evolution as we continue the multi-year initiative to become Cencora.

Here are of the changes you can expect to see starting in January 2025:

January 2025: We will be updating our visual branding in the US to reflect this transition to a part of Cencora.

Spring 2025: Our branding will be updated in the UK and Nordics

Logo change: Our logo will be updated to include the Cencora name

This is an exciting chapter in our journey as we strengthen the connection between our businesses and our parent company, Cencora.

We are truly excited to introduce these changes throughout the year.

Importantly, these are visual identity changes only, with no operational impacts to customers or supply chain partners and require no action on your part.
